Why biofuel?
Since I started writing this blog, I’ve been banging on about the benefits of clean fuel to the environment. Today I’d like to give you a few of the reasons why you will also benefit from using clean fuel, in addition, of course, to living on a cleaner and healthier planet! There are many reasons why people use biofuels instead of fossil fuels. Following are some of the major ones:
Efficiency
Biofuel is more efficient for the engine. As a result of this, it can also extend the lifespan of the engine as it is puts less pressure on it over time.
Low Price
The price of oil is increasing every day due to increase in demand which is higher than production. Obviously it is also a finite resource. Biofuels are low in price as compared to fossil fuels with the progress in agricultural science and techniques. The industry is also subsidized by government as it tries to wean us off fossil fuels. So why not grab the benefits if it’s money in your pocket!
Biofuels are safer
The use of biodiesel and ethanol is much safer than fossil fuels – they are much better to the environment, and have a significant effect on air quality as well as global warming. If you care about the air that you and your children are breathing, it’s worth taking into consideration. Of course, it’s also safer in terms of the risks of global war amid geopolitical games for resources. However, we can leave that for another blog..
The important thing to remember here is that the benefits of eco-fuel are myriad and not limited to the environmental arguments.
